The 2011 offers five trim levels with gas, diesel engines and hybrids. The range starts in base form with a nominal amount of Cayenne 300 3.6L V6. A step in the S Cayenne, the Panamera, with 400 horsepower 4.8-liter V8. The Cayenne Turbo is the top hierarchy of the Cayenne, which takes power in a twin-turbo 500-hp V8 4.8L.
Those who want power and excellent fuel economy; you have two choices in Cayenne – Cayenne S and Cayenne hybrid diesel engine.
Hybrid Power for the Cayenne S is Audi’s 333 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, three-phase synchronous electric motor, the energy of a 38 kW NiMH battery located in the parts and the connection.
Diesel-Cayenne, a 3.0L diesel engine produces 240 hp and 405 Nm of torque. The base Cayenne gets 23.7mpg combined cycle fuel consumption of the Cayenne S, accounting for 23 percent of 22.4mpg combined. Fuel economy of the Cayenne Turbo is an equally impressive 23 percent, now 20.4mpg combined.
Not surprisingly, the Cayenne S Range hybrid model in 2011 again 28.6mpg. The Cayenne diesel reached 25.3mpg combined. This figure seems on par with the current price of USD 45,500 base Cayenne. The tip of the Cayenne Turbo will be a prize of 81,589 pounds, carries a price of about USD 102,000.
